Along the whole interview process, they made one thing very clear to a tangible level that they only aim to get to know the candidate character wise and if is the best fit for the position or not. No other tricks, tests or dishonest approach at all. The great vibe I got that at the very beginning was people are really about if the candidate is the best fit for the team as much as a fit for the position itself. The point that worked for me the most, all people involved were concerned about my comfort with the process by being very friendly with the most professional attitude possible. Technicality wise, interview series consisted of 5 steps and the whole process took around a month. Firstly, the Director proxy sitting in the position contacted me if I am interested in the opportunity laid down at the job description and checked how I feel about my CV being suitable for the job or not. Afterwards, I am introduced to the team of Turkey Office, the team I am going to be working side-by-side on daily life- with the only emphasis on the compatibility of the team and me& the expectations of the team and what can I offer to them. What I realized after the whole process was that step by far the most critical one for the company as it was the indicator of the potential team harmony. Later, had a follow-up interview on the outcomes with Director of People. On that smooth conversation-like step, mainly focused on CV, my background and the experience of mine on the matters that I will be dealing with. The following step was meeting VP Engineering at Turkey Office (he happened to be at Turkey Office for that time being), a professional head-to-head meeting on technical aspects of the job. Was very useful for a candidate to have the chance to get to know the VP Engineering and the team at this stage. This occured at a meeting followed by a general conversation-like sitting with the whole team around the table. Finally, had a phone call with Chief Administrative Officier. It felt basically the last check after all steps and got stamped by the highest level by meeting invoice and having a feeling of the energy/excitement I have the opportunity. The last comment I would want to pass is, after every step, I received very informative notices/emails that helped me greatly to get prepared for the following one at the earliest possible time.
