Got interviewed by the lab PhD, the lab manager, and the company owner. Basically got asked flat-out if I could fix some methods they had that weren't working, the answer was yes I could, and I got called back later. Was told that I was the one that was hired because the first person they offered the job too wouldn't accept the low salary they offered.

Found the job through craigslist. Was called in for an initial interview that went well. Was asked some technical questions and was told of expectations and description of the work. Was called in for a second interview and offered the job. It was a good experience overall.
