Honestly, for Meridian, in this capacity, you would go through two interviews. The first interview is a group interview, and you would interviewer with the HR Recruiter, who's a nice lady, honest and easy to talk to. I heard back from Meridian the next day as they wanted to bring me in for a second interview. So I went in for my first interview on a Wednesday and had my second interview less than 48 hours later. The second interview was with the Director of Financial Aid, and this is where the interview seems to go awry from here. I was asked the normal questions of: What are your salary expectations? Which I went with the basic level, maybe a little bit more. During the interview, the Director kept telling, and almost obsessing on how busy it is, and how stressful the position is. Despite that, I still stayed interested in the process. When you're asked your salary expectations, and are asked when you can start, you think they might make you an offer, right? I was given the tour of the facility, which is mostly under construction and I met with a Director of Admission and another higher level employee. All of which led me to believe I may have an offer coming through? The Director told me she brought me in for a second interview, because she felt strongly about me, and because i'm "Hungry for the opportunity" Despite all the signs pointing to an offer, I have not received an offer or even a phone call which was promised to me to let me know where things stand. All in all, between the gaps in being called back, being given the tour and meeting with people i'd be working with, asked my salary expectations and when I can start, then NOT being given an offer? I warn those who are looking for a Career Opportunity to AVOID MERIDIAN CAREER INSTITUTE, unless you enjoy being led on, and not having anyone call you back within a reasonable period of time.
