i don't know if this applies to all cases. They appeared to be in a hurry to make a hire, but they did a phone screening, followed by a teams meeting. If selected to proceed they wanted to have some sort practical presentation for the second round where they would present you with real world problems and have the candidate come to the interview prepared to present on how they would solve it .

The interviewer really wanted concrete examples of experience so just saying you had x years of experience didn't do it for him. He was expecting much more detailed and granular answer.

Entrevista
Received a call to schedule a phone interview 2 days after applying. The recruiter was knowledgeable about the org and scheduled an in person interview with 3 other PMs. They were personable and asked relevant questions about my experience and the interview went well. I was called in for another in person interview with a VP.
The VP seemed disinterested from the start. He didn't ask a single question regarding project management and focused on the fact that my degree wasn't in business or directly related to project management, despite my experience and certs in PM. This was a bit ironic as his LinkedIn profile shows his degree is in zoology - not exactly relevant to his position. Also, he answered my questions apathetically.
If you're 90% sure you're not going to hire someone, please don't waste their time with an unnecessary interview.
