Entrevista de Executive Development Program Trainee

      26 sept 2012

      Experiencia positiva
      Entrevista normal

      Solicitud

Solicité el puesto a través de la escuela superior o la universidad. El proceso duró 5 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Macy's

      Entrevista

      1. Job fair. Impress them and they'll tell you about: 2. Group Info Session. Try to get noticed in a good way amongst the crowd. If you do well you'll get a call: 3. Two 30 minute interviews with store managers. They're like conversations with questions that seem to be a part of it. Super easy interviews if you are a people person, which is what you should be! a) I forget when this happened, but at some point early in the process I was told to do a personality/IQ test. It took me about an hour and the IQ part was easy highschool stuff. 4. 24 hour interview. The big balooga. Still important to enjoy yourself, network, and make friends. a) Arrive in the afternoon for a tour of the flagship store of the area. Then you get to meet someone super important, followed by some more details, freebies, ask questions, and the information you need for the next day. Go to dinner, network with Current or former EDP's. Then you retire at a nice 4 star hotel. b) The next day you do a presentation using information you were given last night. Be creative and have fun with it. Then using new information do a group presentation. You are given 30 minutes. You also have two more 45 minute interviews with store managers. If I could do it again, I'd bring 5 hr. energy. You get tired. You get over an hour for lunch. Ensure you go to the bathroom before lunch is over or your interview time/presentation time is cut short. During lunch, network and talk to the Macys employees. Start making friends now with the other candidates. If you are antisocial or don't ask questions you won't survive the interview or the job.
