Worst ever experience. This company has no morality I did the 3 rounds of interview with the company within 2 months. I have a better offer in hand, in terms of compensation package and company. But this job seems interesting, so I still applied for it and was well prepared for each interview. The interview went well. I got contacted with an offer. It supposed to be an exciting moment. However, it turned out to be the worst ever. 1. They offered a contingent offer which will be official upon their clients' approval. I have never heard of this term before. So, they explained their client might buy or not buy their service. If the client hire them, then they can officially hire me. That's the most BS offer I've ever heard. It also shows what a bad human recourse management system they have. And what's worse is this condition was never ever mentioned by any of them during a two-month interview process. They just threw this unreasonable surprise to you on your offer day. it's not a fair deal as they ask candidate to assume all their risks as a company. 2. In terms of the salary, I told them in all 3 interviews that I'm looking for 110K. They said no problem, it aligns with what they set aside for this role. But in the offer, it was only 96K. This is a huge gap. 96K is even less then what I'm currently earn. Let alone the poor benefit plan, very short vacation days and bad 401K matching. It's like taking a step back from what I'm currently have. 3. I applied for the senior PM consultant role. I was offered with only a consultant job. When I asked about the reasons. I was told because their senior consultant must have 10+ years of experience. That's funny because in their job description for senior consultant, they themselves clearly stated 5-7 years of experience. I brought this up. And the business unit manager couldn't justify themselves. In summary, it's the worst ever hiring process I've been to. I've been clearly stated my requirement, because I don't want to waste neither parties' time. They were not genuine since the beginning. Hide all the secrets that hurt candidate to the offer day. They wasted my time and it’s just a non-moral, non-professional company at all. For a consulting firm, brand name is so important. I don’t know how this company will grow if they don’t care anything about their reputation.
