Was contacted a few days after applying online. Had an initial phone screening with a HR rep where he asked about my past experience and preferences. Then had another phone screening with the HR manager. She asked similar questions about my current salary, preferences in equipment and programs, and other questions that were not typical interview questions. It could have been that they were testing my knowledge, but it felt much more like they were just wanting to gather data on the talent pool and get free consultations. I did not hear back from them after the calls.
