I spent the morning with the head executive in the business unit for which I wanted to work. 3 hours of pointed questions about my experience and productivity. In the process we seemed like minded and had simialr professional and organization philosophies and goals. Went home with an expectation of an offer. Recruiter said UT system politics resulted in the offer of the position to a family member of a high up UT insider.
