The application process consisted of a basic multiple-choice accounting test. The test was quite easy. You may prepare by reviewing your principles of accounting textbook. If you pass the test, you will then be invited to the panel interview in Downtown Los Angeles. The interview consisted of a 30-minute interview with two senior accountants/auditors. The best way to prepare is by reviewing your introductory auditing textbook as the interview focused heavily on technical questions. Listen to the questions very carefully as they will ask multiple questions at the same time. Also, be prepared to answer behavior-based questions.

I applied and sent in a resume in early January. I got notice that my application was accepted on February 4. The written test was on February 26. The written test is pass/no pass, meaning that you must get at least 70% and it has no bearing on your eligibility beyond that. I can not give you specific questions but brush up on technical accounting/auditing, basic grammar, and basic math to prepare. I got notice that I passed the test on March 10 and received notice for an interview invitation on March 28. The interview determines 100% of your standing so prepare for it. You will be asked questions on your workstyle, technical accounting/auditing, and other behavioral questions. I received notification of my score a week later and now have been placed on an eligible list.
