I was contacted directly by a Sr VP about the position, and asked if I would be interested. An initial interview was scheduled for a few days later. A mere 15 minutes before it started, I received an email saying the interview was cancelled. No explanation was given, but I was told I would be reached out to when they knew more. Sadly they did not do that. I later inquired as to whether the position was on hold or something, but there has been no response whatsoever. I understand that positions get cancelled, hired into internally, etc, but to ghost a candidate like that (whom you reached out to, unsolicited) is both disrespectful and unprofessional.
