Same day response to online application. Unfortunately, the recruiter’s calendar link was full through the week so I scheduled a phone screen for the week after. I get a call from the recruiter at the scheduled time. I tell them about my relevant experience. For some reason the recruiter did not ask me ANY follow up questions about my experience and did not even bother to go over the role or company information. I prodded and asked what the hiring manager was looking for and she only said “Onboarding experience”… for an onboarding role. Call was less than five minutes. I feel like my time was wasted and that I was just there for them to meet a calls KPI.
