Submitted application online, pretty clear and simple process. Shortly thereafter, contacted by recruiter for a basic phone screen with questions about my skills and background. Then handed off to a "consultant" role on the team, who coordinated my interview day (virtual) activities. Interview day included a 1-hour presentation attended by various people in Lewin. I think it was an open invitation to anyone who was interested. Interview day also included 3-4 one-on-one conversations with existing employees. Two were with people at similar levels (one was definitely not excited about working there). Two more were with higher-up's who asked about my experience working with specific kinds of data and conducting particular types of analyses. Then interview day wrapped up. They did send me a small food voucher and explained that if this had been in-person, they would've taken me out for a meal. That was a nice touch. In the end, the recruiter notified that I did not get an offer. When asked for feedback, did not really get anything that was helpful. On my part, I didn't press other interviewers for feedback, in part because while Lewin describes itself as independent, it is owned by Optum and UnitedHealth Group. The "blurred lines" between objective research and the largest commercial payer in the U.S. seem to me like a worrisome conflict of interest.
