Entrevista
Horrible. I got a first interview in May of 2017. I had just moved to NJ and was in desperate need of a job. They took a few weeks to give me feedback on my first interview which was understandable. Manager gave me some excuse about opening a new store etc. Finally I had my interview with the DM, that went well but I never heard back. I had to contact the manager I first interviewed with (thank God she gave me her cell) in order to see if I was hired or not. Didn't get a response because she didn't know. For a while I gave up and finally after months of waiting and failing to get any other offers I got an offer in the end of JULY of 2017.

Pregunta 1
Basic questions about previous management. Strengths, Weaknesses, what's the largest volume I've managed etc
Be transparent, honest, and accurate when answering questions. They are not looking to intimidate you but looking for motivational fit, self motivators and natural born leaders. All in all its pretty straight forward

Ask for retail scenario examples, ask what you would do in situational examples, and ask what you future goals are. Pretty laid back interview with another store manager. Second interview was with SM and district manager.

First interview is with the store manager of the store you're applying to. Second is with the district manager. First interview went great. Typical questions concerning your skills, management abilities and personal characteristics. Second interview was very much the same, but the DM had such a hostile tone that I felt like I was wasting their time and didn't last nearly as long as the first. That plus the deceptive job posting* soured me so much on the company. I was never contacted after meeting with the DM.
*You're not actually applying for the store manager position, but co-manager. You'll be required to work 45+ hours a week and 6 days a week during busy periods like holidays, so say goodbye to any work/life balance. Pay is base plus commission, but an estimate isn't even given to you if you ask.
