received a phone call at the time of the interview, spoke with a trader who asked several basic probability questions, adding multiple extensions onto each question to test true understanding of the topic and answers. Took roughly 30 mins, heard back within 5 days.
The interview was very disappointing. This was my 3rd round with the firm, the interviewer barely cared about my solutoin, was yawning, disinterested for some reason. So, yeah it was a pretty bad experience and no!! I was not doing stupid stuff in the interview it was just a bad day i believe. The question that they asked was about 10 cards on a deck and by the end they were able to make it a multiplayer game where you had to think of a winning strategy with x red and 10-x blue cards.

They asked mostly probability and game theory questions. On-site consisted of a lot of betting games. Very collaborative experience when working on through questions. Overall I enjoyed the the interview experience.

First question was on dice rolling, you get one dollar if your roll is higher than your opponent then you win nothing otherwise.

For side bets, you can do on next card being red/black or higher/lower than 5.5 for 1:1 payout. (you need to figure out how to use this for arb)
