JMAN Interview Experience (Completed on 31st July) Round 1 – MCQ Round (30 minutes, 25 questions) Topics Covered: Java (5 questions): Mostly on Threads and Exceptions JavaScript (5 questions): Medium-level Aptitude & Reasoning (5 questions): Basic Python (5 questions): Basic SQL (5 questions): Basic 📌 Most of the shortlisting happens in this round. Round 2 – Problem Solving (DSA + SQL) Total: 4 DSA questions + 4 SQL questions It's important to perform decently in both sections. Some candidates solved only SQL or only DSA but were not selected. I solved 3.5 SQL + 2.5 DSA and got selected. Round 3 – Technical Interview (40 minutes) Questions Asked: Self-introduction Project overview DSA: Buy and Sell Stock problem (DP) Pattern Printing: Triangle star pattern SQL: Joins (easy to medium) SDLC types OOPs basics Difference between database and SQL Round 4 – Technical + Project (25 minutes) Questions Asked: Self-introduction Deep dive into project Types of indexes in DBMS 2 SQL questions — I solved only one No DSA questions were asked in this round ➡️ I was not able to solve the second SQL question and was asked to leave. I got rejected in this round. Shortlisting & Statistics Round 1 Eligibility: 60% CGPA Total appeared: 850 Round 2 Selected: 170 Round 3 Selected: 32 Round 4 Selected: 20 Round 5 – HR Round Shortlisted for HR: 15 Final selections: 10 Advice / Tips Be strong in DSA basics: ✔ HashMaps ✔ Strings ✔ DP ✔ Greedy ✔ String Matching Be very good at SQL — try solving at least 40 SQL questions on HackerRank. Prepare project explanation very well. Practice pattern printing and basic coding logic.

During the resume selection process, the interviewer asked detailed questions about my certifications, cloud knowledge, and understanding of the SDLC life cycle. They also discussed my projects, tested my SQL knowledge with join-related questions, and asked Python questions to assess my technical understanding.
