I applied through a LinkedIn listing and was contacted by the recruiter after a month. In one week I had a Zoom interview with him, then a Zoom interview with the hiring manager, Zoom interviews with 2 other people, and there was supposed to be an interview with the CFO (so 5 interviews for an SFA role). However, after 4 interviews, the recruiter ghosted me and would not respond to any requests for an update. It's been over 3 weeks now. Everyone was nice as I was talking with them and I was a good candidate (I have 5 years of experience supporting 2 businesses in this industry in this type of role). However, being completely ignored by the recruiter after I made myself available and prepared for 4 interviews and follow-ups is just incredibly rude. After weeks of radio silence, the hiring manager did finally get back to me with a rather generic note of going with another candidate. Still nothing from the recruiter. Bullet dodged.
