This was a pair programming exercise with one of their engineers. The coding exercise itself was not difficult but the key was to develop using test driven development Follow up discussions include how to deploy the code you wrote and what considerations to take into account if this were to be a real product (e.g. platform, scalability, continuous integration & deployment, monitoring, logging etc.)
