Asking for a 30-minute presentation on your organization's product requires a great deal of research and time when the candidate is not emersed in your organization. As the hiring organization, you can go ahead and word the objectives of the presentation any way you want, it still requires days of research and prep from a candidate. It was obvious that you had a lead candidate you wanted to hire all along. Asking additional candidates to go through the process so you can check your boxes is disrespectful and a waste of everyone's time. Danaher does this repeatedly to its candidates and has a bad reputation because of it. Here is a suggestion, just have your lead candidate do the presentation, don't drag additional candidates through the process wasting everyone's time.
