As a referral, I received a call from the HR rep for the healthcare arm of the firm. We did a very informal phone interview and then informed me that he would like to fly me out to Chicago to interview at the end of the week. I went, was given typical consulting treatment (nice hotel, per diem, dining at Smith & Wollensky, drinks), then interviewed the next day with 3 1-on-1 interviews. I received my offer a week later, which was good news as it was the first desirable offer I had gotten upon college graduation. The people at Huron are generally nice, and it's a fairly young company. However, they are a group of workaholics, especially in the healthcare branch. Also, if working healthcare, expect to travel 4 days a week, every week. The upside to that is that you can live wherever you want as long as you can get to an airport.
