Every designer, even if they prefer the design firm approach, should be able to work with engineers, but since it was a straightforward question to determine fit, just answer honestly. It was surprising that they asked it though, since if you're applying to Bosch and it's an engineering company, it would be reasonable to expect someone to expect this.
