Speak with superiors, and note the issue at hand; request additional time. Ensure that everyone on the audit/review is aware of the shortfall of hours so the agent does not appear that he/she failed to deliver on time.

It could to anyone within team I ve agreed with the person who answered first.Just be cool and fix the issue with an extended time period you could get from management.
