They were friendly with a great team dynamic, but the actual job was not at all what they described in the job listing. The interview process included a phone screen, then a video call with the manager, and then an on-site interview. The interview included a tour, brief 1:1 with the engineering managers, then an interview with the full team (design engineer, product engineers, engineering managers, and product manager). It was very conversational, and they were easy to talk to individually, but it can be a challenge to keep the conversation going smoothly with 9 different people at once. They seemed to genuinely enjoy working together, though. I would have liked to join their team, but not in the role they wanted.

Hager, while slow on the interview process, was a very pleasurable experience. I was able to get a good feel of the company though the multiple interviews that we given. the negotiation procees was not there. the number they offered was set.
