Coded to the best of my ability about a concept I was somewhat familiar with. I was abruptly told that not only was my answer inadequate, but that the question was basic and that I should go back and review JavaScript. Mind you, I had taken supplemental online courses regarding JavaScript in the lead-up to this interview in addition to the web development coding certification I already possess. After this, I was then pointed toward the door and my interviewer walked away from me. I was less discouraged that I did not get the job than I was disappointed in the insensitive, disrespectful, and unprofessional attitude the interviewer displayed toward me who had been nothing but polite and agreeable throughout the interview process.
