The interview process was unnecessarily long and lacked communication throughout. The first step was a HackerRank assessment that required building a backend API across multiple files. The second task involved fixing failing test cases with the help of an AI assistant. After successfully completing the assessment, I was invited to an automated screening interview. Unfortunately, after completing all of these steps, I never received any update. It’s been over two months since the screening interview, and there has been no response, not even a rejection email. The most frustrating part is that there is no recruiter or hiring contact to reach out to during the process. Candidates invest significant time completing the assessment and screening, only for their applications to disappear into what feels like a black hole. A simple status update or rejection email would have been far more respectful of candidates’ time.

The process took 1+ month. Firstly there was a written test which was pretty easy and then almost a month later, 1st interview was scheduled. 1st round: System Design and DB architecture. My performance was not up to the mark and got a reject. The interviewer is really friendly and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. He also gave me wonderful feedback then and there(which is pretty rare these days).
