HR was frantic to get me scheduled and left four phone messages on two systems. The HR manager and one of her support team also left email messages. I replied and choose from a number of options for time. The hiring manager called just when he was scheduled. Phone interview with the hiring manager was a good but intense though provoking experience. The questions were about basic macroeconomics of the upstream oil and gas industry which made it fun. Then the manager told me about their work tools and processes. At the end the hiring manager gave me positive feedback and said the HR person would be in touch with me soon about next steps. I never heard from anyone at the company again. After two weeks, I placed a call to HR. I got her but she said she was in the middle of something and would get back to me. I never heard from her.
