1 Phone screen 7 onsite interviews lasting from 10:00 - 19:00 (9hours total) The interviewers were pleasant. They talked about how great the company is after changes in the upper management. The onsite interview was extremely long, with myself waiting as long as 15 mins between rounds. I mentioned very clearly I am hands on and more of a "technical" manager then a people's manager. All the rounds went really good but after 7 hours I was almost out of energy. The last one (the same day onsite) was with the Head of the overall development department. This interview usually happens when the rest of the team has said a yes. He mentioned he is looking specifically for people managers; which kind of let me know I've wasted 9 hours.
