I had 3 interviews. On the second one they asked me to do an excel training and it was timed. I was moved to the 3rd and final interview. When the recruiter called me to inform me if I would receive the position or not she started the conversation with lots of excitement asking "How do you think you did?!" I told her I thought I had successful interviews and basically proceeded to tell her how well everything went. She followed up with my response with "You have not been chosen for this role, In your second interview you did not finish the excel training fast enough". It was frustrating to be moved to another round of interviews when they knew I would not be chosen. Very awkward conversation and I felt like her tone had lead me to believe I would be getting an offer.
