      I was so excited about this interview and was incredibly disappointed that upon discussing my experience, the recruiter cut me short and said that I didn't have the experience they were looking for. I discussed everything that the recruiter already had access to on my resume and the job description stated that the 3 years of experience was preferred and not required. I have all of the other necessary qualifications and am incredibly passionate about implementation and assisting companies hire exceptional talent. I am very disappointed that I prepared extensively for this interview and that was not reciprocated. It did not seem that my resume was even reviewed. The qualifications on the job ad seem to be misleading as well if the 3 years is required and not preferred as stated.

      Thank you for sharing your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you had a negative experience. Our intention with each interaction is to prioritize a positive candidate experience, and it sounds like we missed the mark this time around. While we do our best to screen resumes for relevant skills, it is often through live conversation that we get a sense of someone’s experience. In the scenario where that doesn’t line up with the requirements of the role, we would rather be transparent and respectful of the candidate’s time by letting them know.       El proceso duró 2 semanas. 

      Entrevista

      The first step of the interview was a phone screen with the recruiter. This was more like an interview instead of a recruiter screen based on the questions that were asked. Next step was a 30 minute conversation with the hiring meeting via a video-less Zoom call. I appreciated not having to be on video, but I don't feel like 30 minutes is a long enough time to get to know a person. The third step was to complete a thorough assignment. I'm not sure what the assignment would be, since I did not make it to this round. The recruiter hinted that it would be to assess how I would handle certain client interactions. The fourth step was to present the assignment in front of a panel of people to get graded. I did not make it to this part of the interview process. I was incredibly excited to get this opportunity, because this company was a dream company; however, I think having to finish a lengthy assignment is a little bit excessive. I've been in the HRIS industry for a while, and this is the only company that has wanted an actual assignment to be completed and presented.

      I can't remember the exact wording, but they did want to know how DEI influences my everyday life, and how I contribute to an inclusive environment, which I appreciated since it's important to me. If you do not appreciate DEI, you will not appreciate this company.
