2telephone interviews with the hiring manager, one culture fit interview, one lengthy take home test, one presentation & f2f with the hiring manager and analyst. The take home test was lengthy, there were data gaps which I raised however the HM expected to see recommendations from the data. I felt like he had not worked with a large data set himself to understand what data is needed to derive recc. He felt my summary presentation was not sufficient even though I purposely kept it simple. HM made some insensitive rude comments throughout the interview which were very off-putting. He also complimented my experience as if to give his approval. This threw me as when I got the rejection call I really did not expect it. When I asked HR for reasoning they said the HM had seen better presentations. I asked out of curiosity and for learning if she could fwd me an example so I knew were I went wrong, but I received no reply what so ever. Overall good company mission, just raised funding but unsure if the culture and environment of the business as a whole. Office felt empty as if there was no coordination and the majority of people were WFM to their own will.
