The interview process was exactly as depicted in the handbook. Everyone I talked to was respectful and straight-forward. Next steps were explained as the process continued, and the next interview was set with within a couple of days. The screening call with the administrative coordinator was refreshing. She was easy to talk to and kind. It was great to also speak with the hiring manager and learn a little more about who I would be reporting to. The next step was a C-level interview. The final step was the CEO interview. I liked that there were so many steps so that I could get to know different levels of management within the company. By the end of the process I was able to evaluate that I would be happy at GitLab, and accepted an offer. I was offered fair market value for my location and experience. This was a very positive experience.
