On the day of the assessment center, all 6 candiadtes are introduced to the Human Resources team, the details and minutae of the placement role (beyond what we already knew) followed by our assessements for the day.
Firstly, we were placed in a creative group panel with a prospective business scenario placed before us, which lasted about 45 minutes to an hour, inclusive of preparation time.
Following that, we were taken apart to put together individual presentations (that were meant to last 10 minutes) to answer provided questions extracted form the panel's business scenario.
Finally, we were taken aside individually to be interviewed, very much in the fashion of a strengths based style, by two members of the recruitment team.
This was the last formal assessment of the day, after which we were offered a comprehensive tour of GSK's campus as well as the floors where the Human Resources team were based out of.
