I had an initial phone call with the internal recruiter who explained the role, asked a few questions around what I was doing currently and gave me more details about funding circle and what the company does etc. The next stage was an interview with the head of engineering. After this interview I was given really thorough feedback which I’d never experienced before so that was incredibly refreshing. The next stage was a 3 part interview that can be done as 1 or split across a few days. This involved an interview with a couple of product managers, a technical interview with 2 senior engineers and then finally a second interview with the head of engineering and one of the senior engineering managers. Each part of the process was clearly explained to me before, with details on who I would be speaking to and what about. There was time left at the end of each section for me to ask questions and everyone was very friendly and open with their responses.

Screening interview by the recruiter was followed by an interview with the hiring manager. Take home coding project. Onsite visit involved interviewing with a few senior and principal engineers, hiring manager, product manager, other peers for the role and chief architect. Everyone was super nice and thoughtful. I think it's a great company to work for.
