I went to a open house interview here in Philadelphia. When I got there I was greeted by the recruiters and flight attendants .I signed off my name on a piece of paper with a number on it. There were about close to 50 candidates there including myself. There was a presentation about the company and there expectations. They let us know that there was two training classes they were trying to fill up which was October 31st and Some in January .They went down a line of their requirements. Being that it was a open house interview passports weren't required at that time but it would be required at the time of training. At the end of the list they stated that tattoos and piercing weren't permitted which a lot of the candidates got up and walked out. So there was about 30 of us left. After that we were given a 15 minute break . This is the time to get to know other candidates and show your social skills ! They are watching ! After the break we were selected by rows to interview with FA's individually. By that time people were called into a room and were told whether they will be staying for the next process or would be going home. By the time I was called into the room , I was called in there with 7 other candidates . They let us know that they didn't expect as many of us to show up and they were over capacity and that they would call us to invite us for a interview in Denver . Which I thought this is their way of telling us nicely that we weren't selected but surprisingly a few days later I received a phone call inviting me to Denver for the next stage of the interview! I was surprised and happy . I'm in the process of getting my passport and then I will fly to Denver for the interview
