The interview process was really long. Started off with a phone screening with HR, and then they sent a schedule of hiring manager interviews, peer interview, panel interviews, and finally an interview with the CEO. I asked if I could find out the salary range before starting this process and they declined stating that they prefer to assess a candidate’s skills and giving a final offer so they won’t share preliminary numbers. That makes it hard to gauge what salary or title they’re considering you for. It was also pretty clear in the interview that a lot of the folks that interviewed me were really inexperienced for their roles which makes me think that they’re bringing on junior workers so they don’t have to pay as much.

Rigorous interview. There were a couple of intro calls with one being a more case study type interview asking about more financial questions as well as "what you'd do" situational questions.

The interviews themselves are quite standard, but the process is lengthy. Expect a screening call, ~4 1:1 team interviews, then a full day onsite, which includes several case studies and back to back 30 minute to 1 hour interviews. This day did not include a lunch break, which was off putting, and several of the interviews actually took place outside, walking around the city. In fact, there was no break at all during the 6 hour onsite. I found the people at Forward intelligent, insightful, and passionate. The experience of meeting them all was wonderful. That said, their offer was shockingly low. Purposefully not providing realistic salary ranges during the interview process is disrespectful of a candidate's time.
