Recruiter reached out via email hyping up my resume and saying how they loved my experience. Asked a few basic questions about why I’m interested in the position, why I choose accounting and what internal auditing meant to me. Replied back the same day and didn’t receive any response for over a week. Emailed the recruiter back to make sure they received my followup email and they said they had and were setting up interviews with the hiring manager. I was told I would hear back in 1 week on setting up an interview. 1 week goes by and no response. Sent another email after 2 weeks to double check if they received my email and no response. Followed back up after another 2 weeks stating I was still very passionate about opportunities with them and asked if the position had been filled. No response. Recruiter has since ghosted and this most likely indicates what company culture is like .
