The company Eurofins was hiring for its subsidiary company EGL Genetics in Atlanta and was looking to setup an IT team. I applied online and was invited for a phone interview with Technology Leader. The discussion was more about my background, previous experience leading teams and in general healthcare industry knowledge. After this round, I was invited to a 2 hour onsite interview in Atlanta. This was again with the same person and the Director of IT. The interview was more case study type where i was presented with their current problem statement and asked to elaborate on my approach to resolve it. Overall it was a fairly good interview, but I was then offered a Senior Developer position because they thought that would be more suitable to what I did in my previous roles (which I was fine with). It has been over 2 months and I haven't still got an official offer because apparently they are hiring for the development manager as well and want me to hold on until they fill that position.
