      Entrevista

I received a phone call after I applied for a project manager position. I had a phone interview with a recruiter with the company which went well and he was very friendly. I don't think I was qualified for the position but the company didn't seem to mind. A week later I got a call to set up an in person interview. I set a date and thought I was interviewing for a project manager. He told me I would be meeting with 5 people and sent me their information. The day of the interview I showed up early and they all seemed a little scrambled. It was a Monday so I excused it. As I was interviewing with the first two ladies it turns out I was interviewing for a project coordinator. No one told me this so I was thrown for a loop. I am a project manager at my current job and didn't want to back track. I told them my salary requirement on my phone interview so I thought okay that shouldn't be an issue. I'll take the lower position and work my way up since they know how much I want and made at my current position. The first two ladies had my resume and had relevant questions to the position. The next two individuals came without a resume and just asked me about me and asked if I had any questions. Both super quick. The one person started off as a project coordinator as was made a project manager. So naturally I asked him a out the career path since that's what I wanted. So after I talked to them I spoke with the branch manager. He was friendly and had the vibe of just wanting to get to know me. We talked for 45 minutes and thought it went well. He gave me his card and kept asking if I had any questions. I didn't because the previous people answer most of them because they all interviewed me separately. He didn't ask me to many questions about the position other than what he thinks my biggest challenge would be in this roll other than being a new place.Honestly I didn't have an answer besides it was a different industry. I was a project coordinator for many year and didn't see this position as challenging other than learning their systems which I also stated. The hiring manager told me they were good about people hearing back from them and I should hear by the end of the week. A week goes by and nothing. This is where I got a little frustrated. I reached out to the recruiter 10 days after the interview because I was told he was who I would hear from. The recruiter never responded to my email. So two weeks after my interview I reached out to the hiring manager himself. Literally 5 minutes after I get a phone call from the recurtier I didn't get the job. No explanation. So I thought I thought the people we nice but going through their process and waiting for a response was terrible. They didn't seem to care what so ever.
