      Entrevista de Product Marketing Manager

      12 ago 2019
      Candidato de entrevista anónimo
      Austin, TX
      Sin oferta
      Experiencia negativa
      Entrevista normal

      Solicitud

Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Enverus (Austin, TX) en jul 2019

      Entrevista

I was invited to an in-person meeting with the hiring manager-- the VP. She was late and off the top said she had to leave early, which left about 20 minutes for the interview. Without me mentioning it, she began by saying I should ignore the Glassdoor reviews because not everyone is capable of handling their "fast-paced" environment, and she spent nearly all of the interview bragging about how demanding it is to work for the company. So basically she was trying to convince me that being a difficult place to work was some sort of virtue, and she wanted me to show that I was worthy of its challenges.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

Describe a time when you had to deal with a difficult situation, and how you overcame it. (This was the only question she asked. The rest of the interview was her talking about the company)

This is on me. We were in the midst of rebranding the company and frankly we shouldn't have been meeting candidates. The rebrand launch was the very next week from this and it took a herculean effort across the entire business. We were all preoccupied. It makes sense to me that this was a poor candidate experience. But I'm not proud about that and that is inexcusable.
