The first round is with an in-house recruiter getting a feel for if you'd be a good fit. Second round is an assessment and skills test. Third round is meeting with the manager of the position to get a deeper analysis of my skills and for them to detail the role. The fourth round is a check-in with the director to ensure a good fit.

How would I manage deliverables for a client with misplaced expectations?
Standard interview nothing too out of the ordinary. Everyone was nice to speak with, questions were fairly standard, aptitude test was pretty easy. Maybe a few too many rounds but no complaints otherwise

I could not be more upset with the way things turned out. I interviewed in June of 2021. The process lasted about 3 weeks, and I had excellent discussions with each member of the team I met with, and I know this because I was getting positive and reassuring feedback throughout. I was finally told that, although they "really liked me," they decided not to move forward with my employment. Reason being, someone received an offer in April and then ghosted the HR team when they reached out then, so they assumed he/she was disinterested and started interviewing for the position again. Apparently they came out of the woodworks in June and said they were interested, so Emburse gave them the job. I can't believe they stuck with someone who was so disinterested that they didn't even respond back for 2 months. I was so excited about Emburse, really liked the people/culture and saw a ton of room for growth & opportunity and now I unfortunately have a tainted outlook on the organization. I feel as though all of my time spent interviewing was wasted and I feel rather disrespected.
