I applied for the job and promptly received a request for an in-person interview. There I met with 4 different team members (one at a time). Everyone was super nice and explained clearly what the job entailed.
Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. Acudí a una entrevista en DraftKings (Boston, MA) en mar 2017
Entrevista
Contacted by a recruiter. Phone call with a hiring manager. Then an on-site interview with few other ui and ux designers/managers. The design team at draftkings is completely separated into UI and UX which is not a good practice. At that time, I already felt to not to move on with this company. After a week, the recruiter called me saying that they have some concerns which I already explained pretty well during the interview. This is another big turn off for me. Basically they are waiting for better candidates but they are not sure if they are gonna find one soon so they put me on hold. Then they started to ask me for references. And my reference told me the phone call was so long that it sounds like an interview. In the end, they made up some excuses for not giving me an offer.
Unclear expectations, ingenue responses and big waste of time. Not the company that I would want to works for.
