More importantly, they overestimate the significance of a particular train case study they deliver if you make it to the onsite round. They believe that this single case is an 100% reliable indicator of your intelligence and ability to do the job. The case has more to do with managing your nerves and understanding the logistics of train stations than demonstrating data or analytical ability. Brace yourself for answering the questions correctly only to realize after that you did not put it in exactly the words they were looking for. It is essentially a frat hazing ritual. On the surface, DraftKings seems like an amazing place to work for a sports fan and quantitatively oriented person. After you have your interview experience, you will likely think otherwise.
