The initial connection between employer and employee is done through the Human Resources department. they ask you a few initial questions and e-mail you a link to take the assessment test. After the test is completed, you meet with the District Manager for a 1 on 1 interview. The questions are standardized on a computer printout. After the interview, you are given a preliminary job offer pending the outcome of the background and drug screening. Once everything comes back okay, you are given a final job offer and given a starting date. The DM's interviewing manner is slightly unprofessional. I had my interviews with him at Steak and Shake. It was kind of hard to focus with all of the background noise and movement. Other than that, the interview process is fairly simple.
You will get a call from the DM go in for the interview and they’ll let you know if you’ve been hired or not. It was an easy process I applied and within a week I received a phone call for an interview.

My soon to be DM was very kind and very blunt and to the point about what would be expected of me, however she did not mention some very key things like.... 60- 80 our weeks every week, what would be my 1 1/2. Days off. Which i didnt get most weeks, and that most stores were overstocked and understaffed. Im sure she meant well. She was very professional and very company minded.
I had three interviews. One with Human Resources. One with the district manager. And one with the regional director. Overall it took 3 weeks to complete the interviewing process. Not very convienient and time consuming
