The Interview itself was average. Typical leadership scenario questions. However, it was a disappointing experience. Interviewer seemed cold and unable to connect. Environment for the interview was extremely uncomfortable. Absolutely no follow up after the interview, which was eye opening. Interviewees should always be given follow up, whether you decide to move forward or not. An email or call to let the candidate know that you appreciate their time however you have decided to make an offer to another applicant is something that is standard practice. I should have expected the lack of follow up based on the poor interview experience.
