The interview process was your typical interview process -- you meet the CEO & manager with multiple rounds of team members, which I liked because you get to have a 1:1 with each and get to really know their role, strengths, and expectations when coming in. The manager was very helpful in lining expectations, weak points we'll need to address, etc — which I appreciate as other companies only mention the "good" stuff and force you to come in blindly.

Interviewer, who was one of the owners of the agency (who puts you in front of an owner on first round??) was really cold, awkward, and standoffish. Immediately felt intimidated and like I was an inconvenience for him to be speaking with. He asked me very general, vague questions about topics that were frankly outside of the pay range for this role, outside of the daily responsibilities, and outside of the requirements the job listing asked for. He also dropped an F bomb and cursed several more times during the conversation. Bummed I didn't move forward in the process? Sure. Thankful I dodged that walking red flag of a manager? Definitely.
