They all appeared unusually distant, their expressions etched with indifference, as if the mere act of interviewing me was a nuisance they had to endure. During the interview, one of their engineers made a disparaging comment that echoed through the room, cutting through the already thick air of tension. It felt like a punch to the gut, leaving me feeling deflated and disheartened. It was, without a doubt, one of the most disheartening experiences I’ve encountered in the realm of job interviews. Once the session concluded, I was met with an echoing silence; they didn’t even take the time to reach out and provide any feedback. In that moment, my respect for the company plummeted, leaving me disillusioned and frustrated.

assessment day consisted of back to back interviews, one involving a case study, a behavioural interview and a competency interview. this was for the internship so it wasn’t too technical and overall not that difficult. more questions about technology within the banking sector so useful to know banking technicals
