9/14/15-Started online application
9/22/15-Received an email to complete an online assessment. It was your standard Agree or Disagree questions.
9/25/2015-Received an email to complete the digital interview which you have 3 days to complete.
9/27/2015-I completed the digital interview! (It was very easy to me because I was able to prepare ahead of time. I found the 4 questions listed on this website.
After I completed the digital interview I received a generic email stating that "due to high volume of applicants associated with the position I applied, it may take time to review responses and get in touch with you".
9/29/2015-I received a call from a Chicago number around 8pm (People Source) to schedule my F2F interview. They sent me an confirmation email with my interview time, location, and instructions.
10/2/2015-F2F interview. When I arrived I thought that it was a group interview because of the amount of people there. It was about 15 candidates. The Delta representatives (about 6 of them) took us to a board room where they showed us a short video about the history of Delta and then went over the position details. Afterwards, they told us to be patient because we would be called 1 by 1 and there were only 6 interviewers. They went in alphabetical order and since my last name starts with an A I was one of the ones to go first. My interviewer was great and he made me feel very comfortable. Sorry I don't remember the questions that he asked me but they were in the STAR format similar to the digital interview questions. I received a conditional job offer on the spot and then I was taken to a room with 5 other people to complete fingerprinting and paperwork. We had 3 days to go take the physical agility test and drug test. I completed mines on 10/6/2015. I was nervous about the physical agility test because although all you have to do is lift a luggage bag, they take your blood pressure before and after the test. My blood pressure was high (probably due to me being nervous), however, she had to take my blood pressure 4 times before I could actually take the physical so I just knew that at that moment I had failed.
10/20/2015-To my surprise I received an email requesting employment verification for 2010 in order to complete my background check. I sent over the requested documents.
10/23/2015-My status changed from "under review" to "position offered"
10/27/2015-I received a call congratulating me and telling me that training starts 11/2/2015 and that I would receive an email with the details!!
10/28/2015-I received the confirmation email with training time, location, and instructions!
So as you can see it can be a long process but if you really want it, it's definitely worth the wait!! :-) I'm soo excited and I hope that my timeline helps for those of you that's still in the "waiting period".
