Applied online. Heard back from HR within a week or two. Interesting Company. It's a new position for the company. Interview was going fine until we talked about money. Now in the beginning of the interview the company stated that their items were "flying off the shelves". Ok so you think that they are doing extremely well. Next it's a new position so you'll have to do everything from scratch (ground, ocean, air and parcel moves)your way/company way operations wise. Lastly the job is in the highly taxed state of NJ. Now with those 3 items in mind you would think that with all that work that has to be done the company would compensate you for it. No they wish to low ball you on the offer. 60 K for everything. I understand the company is based in Toronto, Canada but you have to also realize the work conditions and workload needed to make your transportation run well. Don't insult transportation professionals with what you are offering. You go cheap and you get what you pay for.
