Overall nice interview process. But a bit lengthy. Took a few weeks to go through the whole process.
- The first stage was a call with HR to get to know each other
- The second call was a cultural interview with sprinkles of some very basic technical questions (with 2 engineers).
- Take-home small project assessment, recommended time to complete about 4 hours, but there was plenty of time to do it.
- The third stage, was a technical discussion on the assessment and pair-programming where you were supposed to make some changes to the project to see how you work and additional technical questions to get a better understanding of your experience
- The last stage was a feedback call to ask about your experience during the interview process and enumerate the benefits of working at crypto.com (no base salary was mentioned).
After being asked about my rate in the first stage and in the last stage, the recruiter said they can't offer my rate, as they currently only offer location-based pay (which was still lower than the average of my location for this kind of position).
Very disappointing for a company such as Crypto.com to come up with such an excuse.
For me, the whole process was a waste of time as I would have preferred they said from the beginning that they can't offer my rate, not make me spend time and resources for days/weeks during the whole interview process only to tell me at the end that they can't offer me my asking rate.
did an online assessment. 2 leetcode hard problems, 2 analytical medium questions and 1 prompt engineer question.

Odd interview process for a tech role: 1) HackerRank; 2)Behavioral Interview with senior managers (No technical questions); 3) HR Call to schedule interview (totally unnecessary and waste of time; could've been completed over email instead of waiting to call for a week to schedule the final interview); 4) Final 10 min behavioral Interview with CTO and head of HR.
Based on interview impressions, doesn't seem like there is much of a company culture. Also weird that none of the interviews were technical at all.
After the final interview, I was ghosted for a few weeks (even though they told me to hear back after 1 week). I did not know that my application was not considered anymore after emailing them again 3 weeks later.

Final 10 min interview question: If you could create a product for a blind person, what would it be? (+ follow up questions, no technical questions at all, unclear purpose).
