My first-round HR interview was shockingly poor. The interviewer had no apparent understanding of the advertised role, my background, or even the basics of what the position involved. It felt completely unprepared and deeply unprofessional.
HR then followed up the conversation by emailing me a take-home quantitative research assignment. To their credit, the assessment itself was well structured. I spent an entire weekend completing it and produced a strong submission.
After sending it in, I received no response whatsoever. The external recruiter I had applied through later asked me to forward him the assignment, despite the instructions clearly stating it must not be shared outside Crypto.com. I refused. The process then died without any communication.
I have since accepted a quantitative research role at a leading trading firm. Candidates who value their time should think avoid engaging with this firm.
I now have a new QR job at a top trading firm. I advise candidates who don't enjoy time wasting to not bother applying for this amateurish firm.
