Be prepared to work for free as part of the interview process, ended up investing 10+ hours of my time on two case studies as part of the final interview only to find out multiple candidates were asked to do the same thing. Was ghosted for three weeks after putting these case studies together and presenting them. Free work becoming more common in tech, please do what I didnt and decline these asks. These types of requests would cost them 20 grand with a consultant and its predatory behavior on job seekers. If the interviewer cant ascertain your skills during an interview they're the poor hire thats already been made, trying to root that out with an assignment wont fix the management.
